Shipping Policy

At Raquel Music Store, we are committed to processing and shipping your order as quickly, safely, and accurately as possible. Please review the following information regarding our shipping procedures and policies.


Order Processing

Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days after payment has been successfully received and verified.

Orders placed during weekends, holidays, promotional events, or periods of unusually high order volume may require additional processing time.

Processing time refers to the time required for Raquel Music Store to prepare, pack, and release your order to the shipping carrier. It does not include carrier transit time or delivery time.


Shipping Methods

We currently ship using:

  • USPS
  • Island Wide Delivery
  • Other carriers when necessary

Available shipping methods may vary depending on the destination, package size, weight, and product type.


USPS Shipments

Customers may choose their preferred USPS shipping service during checkout.

Once your package has been accepted by USPS, all transportation and delivery are handled exclusively by USPS.

Any delivery dates displayed by USPS are estimated delivery times only and are not guaranteed.

Raquel Music Store is not responsible for shipping delays caused by USPS, weather conditions, holidays, transportation interruptions, or any circumstance beyond our control.


Island Wide Delivery

Orders shipped through Island Wide Delivery are generally processed and released to the carrier within 1–2 business days.

Once Island Wide picks up your package from our store, all transportation, routing, scheduling, and delivery become the responsibility of Island Wide.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary depending on operational schedules, routing, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.


Oversized & Heavy Items

Certain products cannot be shipped using standard parcel services due to their size, weight, or special handling requirements.

Products weighing approximately 50 pounds or more, oversized merchandise, professional speaker systems, subwoofers, line array systems, speaker packages, road cases, and similar products may be available for Local Pickup Only.

If a shipping option is mistakenly selected during checkout for an oversized item, Raquel Music Store reserves the right to contact the customer before processing the order.

Depending on the product and destination, we may:

  • Arrange Local Pickup
  • Request additional shipping charges
  • Ship using a freight carrier
  • Cancel and fully refund the order if shipping is not available

Shipping eligibility is determined solely by Raquel Music Store.


Handcrafted & Fragile Products

Many of our handcrafted instruments and specialty products are individually made by artisans and may feature natural variations in wood grain, color, finish, texture, dimensions, or other characteristics. These natural variations are part of the uniqueness of handcrafted products and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Certain handcrafted, fragile, or one-of-a-kind products require additional protective packaging and handling before shipment.

Raquel Music Store reserves the right to require upgraded packaging, additional handling time, signature confirmation, special shipping services, or Local Pickup whenever necessary to help ensure safe transportation.


Carrier Selection

Although customers may select a shipping method during checkout, Raquel Music Store reserves the right to use an equivalent or upgraded shipping service whenever necessary to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of your order.

Whenever possible, upgraded shipping services may be provided at no additional charge.


Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information whenever available.

Tracking information is generated by the shipping carrier and may require several hours before becoming active.


Delivery Delays

While we make every effort to process and ship orders promptly, carrier transit times cannot be guaranteed.

Raquel Music Store is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • USPS
  • Island Wide
  • Freight carriers
  • Weather conditions
  • Holidays
  • High shipping volume
  • Transportation interruptions
  • Mechanical failures
  • Natural disasters
  • Incorrect delivery attempts
  • Any circumstance beyond our reasonable control

Shipping charges are non-refundable due to carrier delays.


Incorrect Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided, additional shipping charges may apply if the order must be reshipped.

Orders returned because of an incorrect address may require payment of additional shipping charges before being shipped again.


Refused or Undeliverable Packages

Packages refused by the customer or returned as undeliverable may be subject to:

  • Return shipping charges
  • Original shipping charges
  • Applicable handling or restocking fees when permitted

Any refund issued will be reduced by the applicable shipping and handling costs.


Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact Raquel Music Store as soon as possible.

We will gladly assist you with the shipping carrier's claims process whenever applicable.

Customers should retain the original packaging, shipping box, and all contents until the carrier's inspection or claim process has been completed.


Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers are encouraged to inspect their shipment immediately upon delivery.

Any visible shipping damage should be reported to both the shipping carrier and Raquel Music Store within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report shipping damage promptly may affect the ability to process a carrier claim.


Signature Requirements

For certain orders, high-value merchandise, or shipments requiring additional security, Raquel Music Store may require an adult signature upon delivery.


Product Availability

Inventory levels are updated regularly; however, availability cannot always be guaranteed.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer to discuss available options, substitutions, backorders, or a full refund.


Shipping Restrictions

Raquel Music Store reserves the right to refuse shipment of any item that cannot be safely packaged, insured, or transported through standard shipping services.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Oversized products
  • Heavy equipment
  • Professional audio systems
  • Large subwoofers
  • Line array systems
  • Fragile handcrafted instruments
  • One-of-a-kind artisan products
  • Merchandise requiring special handling

When necessary, customers will be contacted to arrange:

  • Local Pickup
  • Freight shipment
  • Special shipping arrangements
  • Order cancellation with a full refund if shipping cannot be safely provided
